Motivation for joining JDWS:
I chose JDWS because of my passion for fighting gender-based violence throughout my career. After working on asylum cases in Canada, I knew my future would involve working alongside an organization that advocates
for the rights of women and girls. I studied the Sahel extensively at graduate university and became educated about the region. Volunteering at JDWS is an opportunity to combine my professional and academic experience to make a difference.
